Safety Schemes in Procurement
Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) is widely acknowledged as the industry benchmark as it has received approval by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). SSIP members, including CHAS, conduct SSIP assessments, analysing all aspects of health and safety; this includes safety policy, training programmes and risk assessments.

PAS 91 is one of government's common minimum standards for construction procurement.

PAS 91 streamlines the client’s process of identifying suitable contractors for their contracts while offering peace of mind that contractors are compliant and qualified. PAS 91 further helps to create a sustainable tendering process.

When undertaking this accreditation, we will be expected to demonstrate through evidence that you have processes and policies in place for the following business risks: health and safety; insurance; financial; environmental; quality; equality, diversity and inclusion; anti-bribery and corruption; modern slavery; corporate and professional standards; and identity.
